ICT for Energy Efficiency and Security

The European Union is committed to taking the lead towards more sustainable energy consumption and production in the global economy. Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) have a major role to play in helping other sectors to become more energy efficient and also to overcome the challenges of energy security.

The European Internet Foundation and the European Energy Forum join their efforts to debate these two issues which are of paramount importance for Europe and to highlight the business potential lying in a greener use of energy.
