Lithuania’s Energy Options: Will the lights go out after the closure of Ignalina NPP?

The aim of the debate is to discuss the options for Lithuania’s electricity supply after the closure of Unit 1 of Ignalina NPP in 2005 and of Unit 2 in 2009.

• Decommissioning Ignalina : at what price, who pays? 
• Is nuclear new build feasible? 
• What energy strategy for the region after enlargement (Baltic ring?)
