The “Clean Energy for All Europeans” package is a key step towards making Europe a global leader of the energy transition. Above honouring European 2030 energy and climate objectives as well as the Paris Agreement, these proposals aim to adapt the electricity market design to the new energy landscape, with the consumer at its core.

This dinner-debate was an opportunity for EEF members to reflect about the implications of the new package for European Consumers.

Damien Siess, Corporate strategy Director of the French Union of Electricity, introduced the vision of French market players on a decisive legislative package. Christian Buchel, analysed the Commission document through the prism of European DSOs,  market facilitators at the core of a future consumer-centric energy system.
