EEF Associate Member CEWEP and will hold a joint workshop at the IFAT trade fair in Munich on 7 May entitled: The burning question: What to do with plastic waste?
The event will be chaired by CEWEP’s Director Ella Stengler. Speaker Karl Falkenberg from DG Environment will present the EC approach on the issue, whereas Professor Costas Velis, from Leeds University, will talk about the possibilities of plastic waste exportation for recycling. Representatives from the plastic industry will give an insight into the plastic recycling process.

This event is free of charge. As the number of participants is limited to 60, places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
