Clearing the air: good news from Greece

The contribution of natural gas to pollution mitigation will be the focus of the seminar that our member Eurogas is co-organising under the banner of Green Week 2013 together with NGVA Europe on 7 June.

The seminar will look into the advantages of using natural gas in transportation. The results on the improvement on air quality in the city Athens from 1980s to the present day will provide practical information on the contribution of this energy source to improve air quality in urban cities. New technologies and practices in Greece will also be explored during the seminar.

Speakers include Harry Sachinis, Chairman and CEO of DEPA – the Public Gas Corporation in Greece; Dr. Markus Baum from the German automotive company Daimler AG; Simon Blakey, Special Envoy of Eurogas and Matthias Maedge, Head of Brussels Office at NGVA Europe.

The event will take place at Eurogas' headquarters in Brussels in avenue de Cortenbergh 172.

Registration is open until 3 June via this form.
