Energy efficiency and consumers empowerment were 2 recurrent topics of the 10th edition of the EU Sustainable Energy week. The 3 days conference in Brussels was much focused on the key priorities set by the Energy Union framework. It was an opportunity to launch joint discussions on the challenges that this new policy framework will bring.
2700 stakeholders and EU citizens took part in the conferences in Brussels and 670 related events were organized across the EU during the third week of June. Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič, Commissioner Arias Canete, Professor Fatih Birol from the IEA or MEP Jerzy Buzek and Claude Turmes were some of the key personalities participating in the policy conference this year.
