European Solar Days

On Wednesday 15 May, our Associate Member the European Photovoltaic Industry Association (EPIA) will organise a Networking Cocktail in the Renewable Energy House in Brussels to celebrate the European Solar Days along with European Solar Thermal Industry Federation (ESTIF).

The European Solar Days promote the use of this renewable energy source. The initiative began as a grass-roots effort in Austria in 2002 and has turned into a European campaign, with events taking place all over Europe. This year, European Solar Days events will take place from 1 to 19 May 2013 in more than 20 countries, all over the continent.

This initiative intends to raise awareness on the use of photovoltaic and solar thermal energy. It brings together major players from the solar thermal and solar electricity sectors throughout Europe and is supported by around 25 organisations at a national and European level.

Those interested in attending the cocktail in Brussels can download the complete programme here, and confirm attendance to Claire Hardy: c.hardy@epia.org
