One of the most important priorities of the European Union at this moment is the improvement of the interconnection of Member States' infrastructures, in particular energy and transport. In this context and in view of the upcoming proposals from the European Commission on the Multiannual Financial Framework and on the Trans-European Networks, the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats in the European Parliament (ALDE) decided to take an integrated look at these proposals.
After a first hearing on 1st June 2011, when speakers mainly represented decision makers, we would like to invite you to a second hearing on 22 June 2011 to listen to the key stakeholders who actually build or finance these infrastructure projects, to take on board their views.
