If you are an expert on ‘Digital energy’ and TSO-DSO synergies or you have an interested on these issues, you may want to attend the InnoGrid2020+ Digital Energy conference organised by ENTSO-E and EDSO for Smart Grids in Brussels. This event is part of a well-established conference series on research and innovation (R&I) for electricity networks. This year’s, in addition, the conference will launch the European Technology and Innovation Platform (ETIP) for the field of smart grids, storage and the integrated energy system, foreseen under the 2015 SET-Plan.
The event will begin with a half-day on 22 March, followed by a cocktail and dinner exhibition session, continuing for a full-day on 23 March.
Keynote speakers include Vice President for Energy Union Maroš Šefčovič and Commissioner for Digital Economy & Society Günther Oettinger. Other confirmed speakers include: Paul Timmers, Director of the Sustainable & Secure Society Directorate, DG CONNECT; Alberto Pototschnig, Director, ACER; Peder Andreasen, President, ENTSO-E; and João Torres, Chairman, EDSO for Smart Grids.
More than 20 projects with EU added value will take part in the conference and networking exhibition and present their final reports and recommendations.

ENTSO‐E represents 41 European transmission system operators for electricity from 34 countries coordinating their activities related to system operation, development of market-related issues as well as research & development. ENTSO-E was established and given legal mandates by the EU’s Third Legislative Package for the Internal Energy Market in 2009 to draft, among others, Ten-Year Network Development Plans (TYNDPs) and network codes.
