Launch of the report on Flexibility for the energy transition: a toolbox for electricity and gas DSOs

Join EEF members EDSO for Smart Grids, Eurelectric, Eurogas and GEODE for the launch of the joint report on Electricity and Gas Flexibility. The report provides a holistic approach on how DSOs can use flexibility and thus contribute to the transition towards decarbonisation, as well as a set of solutions enabling DSOs for operating grids in a cost-efficient way. It offers a sound overview to policy makers on how the regulatory framework should be adapted to facilitate and reward the use of flexibility by DSOs and other stakeholders. The report also brings forward solutions for flexibility issues of DSOs, technologies available to get the needed flexibility services to system operators, together with alternative ways to acquire these services.
