Panel Discussion on Energy Retail Markets, Brussels

A discussion on consumer empowerment and satisfaction on the energy field will be held on 26 November 2012 at 7pm at the Representation of the State of Lower-Saxony to the EU. The event builds on the upcoming Commission’s Communication on the Internal Energy Market and the results of the London Forum that will take place next week in London and is organised by EWE.

Entitled “Consumer orientation as a competitive advantage in the energy retail market”, the discussion will focus on how energy companies can contribute to empower consumers and increase customers’ satisfaction in the energy retail market.

The event will be chaired by Claas Tatje (Die ZEIT) and will count on the presence of speakers Christian Haferkamp (Managing Director for Sales at EWE), Guillermo Beltrà (BEUC), Jan Panek (Head of Unit “Retail Markets” in DG ENER) and Rebecca Harms MEP (tbc) (Co-President of the Greens/EFA).

The deadline for registrations is Friday, 16 November. For further information, please send an email to buero.bruessel@ewe.de.
