The Directorate for Energy of the European Commission is organising this event to engage policymakers and stakeholders in an informed discussion on ways to upscale energy efficiency investments. This includes sharing best practice on how to reach out to and engage SMEs in thinking about energy efficiency investments and presentation of the opportunities for unlocking the potential for energy efficiency investments in Ireland and the UK. Speakers will focus on practical experience and the event will allow ample time for debate. The conference will have plenary sessions as well as smaller interactive sessions in order to enable more detailed discussions.
The event will take place in Dublin and is organised in partnership with the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland and the UN Environment Finance Initiative, in the frame of the Sustainable Energy Investment Forums contract, funded by the Horizon 2020 programme of the European Union.
