Roundtable “How Gas technologies and infrastructure are providing solutions to our EU energy and climate challenges”, Brussels

GIE, GERG and a third GasNaturally partner MARCOGAZ, are organising a roundtable on how the gas industry is facing EU energy and climate challenges that take place on 5 March at the European Parliament.

The event will be Hosted by MEPs Maria Da Graça Carvalho (EPP) and António Fernando Correia De Campos (S&D). Representatives of the European Commission, the Permanent Representation of Ireland and the gas industry will also attend the event.

GERG was founded in 1961 to strengthen the gas industry within the European Community and it achieves this by promoting research and technological innovation in all aspects of the gas chain.

Gas Infrastructure Europe (GIE) is an association representing the sole interest of the infrastructure industry in the natural gas business such as Transmission System Operators, Storage System Operators and LNG Terminal Operators. GIE has currently 66 members in 26 European countries.
