Visit to the Terna Storage Lab Project hosted by EASE

EEF Associate Member EASE is organising a visit to the Terna Storage Lab project in Sardinia on 30 June and 1 July. This project intends to analyse the performance of selected battery technologies when used to provide essential grid services (e.g. frequency, secondary and voltage regulation) and to test their worth in real case scenarios. The site has 7.5MW of multi-technological battery systems, 1 of 2 multi-terminal HVDC systems in operation in the world and 2 Synchronous compensators (2x250MVA). In the framework of the visit, a welcome dinner for participants will be held on 30 June.
