The EEF is committed to user privacy. It only processes your personal data for the purposes described below; it does not divulge them for marketing purposes. All personal information is processed in line with Regulation (EC) No 45/2001 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 December 2000 and the EEF’s IT security and confidentiality rules. This Privacy Policy outlines the kind of information EEF may collect while you visit our website and how EEF uses such information. Some of the information we keep on our webserver is information that you volunteer to provide through forms, and some is collected automatically. Unless you volunteer to submit personal data yourself, EEF will not collect any information from which individual visitors can be identified nor will EEF employ any technology that is aimed at identifying a visitor.

PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION EEF

Personal data protection EEF, which is responsible for processing the personal details, undertakes, to the best of its abilities, to guarantee the protection of the personal details through technical security regulations and an adequate security policy towards its employees in accordance with the Belgian Privacy act (Act of 8 December 1992 relating to the protection of privacy with regard to processing personal details Official Belgian law gazette 18 March 1993). Internet users have a statutory right to inspect and possibly correct his / her personal details and / or ask for the removal of specific pictures. Subject to proof of identity (copy identity card) you can obtain, by submitting a written, dated and signed application to EEF the written notification of your personal details free of charge. If necessary, you can also request to correct any information that is incorrect, incomplete or not relevant. The privacy policy that applies to Internet users needs to be strictly separate from the privacy policy that applies to the domain name holder, as governed by article 7 of the general terms and conditions for domain name registration. We keep in our Members database the details of all Member organizations and professional details of the main contact people in each of them. This information is available on the EEF website. We also keep information for internal purpose about participation to EEF events. As a general member of the public, you can consult our electronic newsletter or information bulletin, letters from the publisher and energy news. If you want to modify or check your personal data (e.g. e-mail address) please contact us by using the application “contact” provided at the website, by mail at info@europeanenergyforum.eu or at European Energy Forum, Avenue Ariane 7, 1200 Brussels, Belgium. Even though the subjects and dates of the dinner debates are accessible to every visitor under the directory “Events”, a more detailed presentation of the dinner debates is also protected by use of password, exclusively accessible to EEF members who have been present during the concerned dinner debates. As a member of the EEF, your details are published on the website. You can access internal documents thanks to the username and password which has been attributed to you. If you have lost your username and password, you can request a new password by using the application on the website “request new password”. The EEF will only disclose information to third parties if that is necessary for the fulfilment of the purpose(s) identified above and to the mentioned (categories of) recipients. The EEF will not divulge your personal data for direct marketing purposes. The EEF only keeps the data for the time necessary to fulfil the purpose of collection or further processing. Adequate security measures have been taken to safeguard your information against possible misuse or unauthorized access as much as it is feasible. PERSONAL INFORMATION YOU CHOOSE TO PROVIDE

Only when specifically requested by website visitors will the information we collect be used to respond to visitors´ inquiries, fulfil email messaging programs, and notify visitors about new content or services on our website. If you decide you no longer wish to receive postal mailings and/or emails from us, please let us know by sending email or writing to us and telling us you no longer wish to receive postal mail and/or email. INFORMATION AUTOMATICALLY COLLECTED AND STORED

The EEF measures the performance of its site in order to improve and customize it in favor of our visitors.
