The European Energy Forum is pleased to invite you to this dinner debate co-hosted by its Associate Members EURIMA, Euroheat & Power and E.ON to discuss the link between affordable housing, renovation, heat demand and local electricity grids. It will also explore how better coordination across sectors can support both housing affordability and energy system efficiency.
Affordable housing is not only about building new homes, but also about ensuring that existing homes are efficient, comfortable and affordable to heat and maintain. Renovation, insulation and improved heat-demand planning can help reduce peak demand, lower energy costs and ease pressure on local electricity grids.
The discussion will bring together perspectives on building performance, heat planning and distribution network management, with a focus on improving system efficiency and enabling more coordinated planning across stakeholders.
We look forward to welcoming you to this debate and hearing your thoughts!
