· Iffezheim hydroelectric power station
The Upper Rhine between Basel and Karlsruhe is a pulsating main artery in the heart of Europe. Ten hydropower stations produce approximately 8.6 billion kWh of renewable energy annually, and per year about 40,000 ships pass the lock at Iffezheim. With 5 turbines, the Iffezheim Rhine power station is one of the largest hydropower stations in Europe. The facility is operated by Rheinkraftwerk Iffezheim GmbH which is owned to equal parts by EnBW Kraftwerke AG and EDF.
A detailed programme will be sent to those registered.
