Dinner debate in Strasbourg

The European Energy Forum, together with FuelsEurope, Eurogas and the eFuel Alliance, is pleased to invite you to discuss the role of renewable and low-carbon fuels in road transport decarbonisation.

Road transport is central to Europe’s competitiveness, resilience and decarbonisation ambitions. Our speakers will discuss the practical conditions needed to deliver the transition, and how renewable and low-carbon fuels can contribute alongside electrification while supporting industrial resilience, consumer choice and a competitive European economy.

The industry will also present its perspectives on the availability of feedstocks, affordability, scalability, investment signals and regulatory certainty. The debate will consider how Europe can reduce transport emissions while strengthening energy resilience and ensuring that the transition remains realistic and accessible for citizens and businesses.

The discussion will move beyond common assumptions to examine the practical realities shaping the role of renewable and low-carbon and will challenge misconceptions around resource efficiency and long-term supply.
