Dinner debate in Strasbourg

Speaker: Mr. Martin Novsak, Director, GEN Energija

Fast country development and growth imply a strong increase in energy demand. Import dependency is increasing to the highest levels in Europe.

To support sustainable development, the selection of technology for the production of electricity should be based on environmentally and economically sound sources. The positive experience with nuclear technology in Slovenia leads to the consideration of this source as a viable option. Expanding the existing capacity of the Krško Nuclear Power Plant presents itself as a potentially very interesting solution, as Martin Novsak told us.
