The European Energy Forum is organising a follow-up energy debate on the key topic of the Electricity Market Design reform.

In pursuing its objectives of security of supply and decarbonization of the electricity system at the lowest cost for consumers, the legislation includes provisions incentivizing flexibility solutions, including demand response and storage.

Our speakers from EASE, ENTSO-E and EUGINE will discuss the implications of the European Commission’s proposal and provide their insights on what could be further included to ensure the achievement of the reform’s objectives.

They will also explain how the different flexibility solutions can contribute to meet the power system’s needs for stability and security in all timeframes and locations, in case of variable energy generation.
